Bandi Chhor Divas Blessings Card
Stunning and contemporary greeting card for Bandi Chhor Divas, perfect if you're looking that something special. A very different take on the traditional cards, using abstract art to represent the victory of light over darkness.
Text on back reads:
Bandi Chhor Divas, meaning Prisoner Release Day, celebrates the day Guru Hargobind, the 6th Sikh Guru, was released from prison. According to history, in 1619, the Guru was released from prison along with 52 other Hindu kings who were able to hold on to the Guru’s coat tails.
This day is now celebrated as a victory of right over wrong. This abstract art represents light over darkness, good over evil, hope over despair and knowledge over ignorance.
